LATEST OFSTED REPORT (March 2019)
We were very pleased to receive such a positive report from our latest inspection. Mrs Masters from Ofsted visited the school on February 26 and spent the day at the school. During that day, she visited lessons in all year groups, looked at a range of pupils' books, listened to pupils read, spoke with parents at the school gate, reviewed 50+ responses to the parent questionnaire and reviewed the staff questionnaire responses; she also held meetings with the school's senior leaders, teachers, the school council, the local authority school improvement advisor and eight of our governors. After this thorough review of school life at Someries Juniors, Mrs Masters was able to confirm that:
"This school continues to be good. The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection."
